About Me

Armando Pico’s passion for photography began at the age of 10 when he built his first camera out of a cardboard box and a roll of 110 film. After graduating from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, his career as a photojournalist took off earning him 19 Emmy Awards in just 17 years.
With a cinematographic resume that includes the royal wedding of the prince of Spain, he has filmed major international news events for network television. In his extensive travels, Armando honed his photography skills capturing the people, landscapes and architecture that make each spot on the planet unique. Combining his keen interest for visual arts and music along with his news experience, Armando applies his photojournalistic style to all special event cinematography and photojournalism creating a unique product that captures your special moment for eternity. The images speak for themselves.

Saile & Elvin’s Wedding Movie Trailer

Just a few weeks ago, we shared some of our favorite photographs from Saile and Elvin’s gorgeous wedding at the First United Methodist Church in Coral Gables. Their Douglas Entrance wedding reception was also a gorgeous event. The couple partied like rock stars along with their friends and family. Saile’s father, who’s also a Pastor, not only walked her down the isle to give her hand in marriage. He also partially officiated their ceremony at the First United Methodist Church. Saile and Elvin were a true pleasure to work with and I know they will cherish these images forever. We now present to you their wedding movie trailer.

Carolina & Francisco’s Wedding Photographs

We recently received the most amazing, chic, and trendy album from a spectacular destination wedding we photographed. This Conrad Hotel Punta del Este Uruguay wedding, was the largest and most breathtaking nuptials we’ve ever photographed. Over 1,500 people attended this fairytale wedding which also seemed to be a star studded event. The couple first got ready at the Conrad Hotel Punta del Este, and then said their “I do’s” at the historic Iglesia San Carlos Borromeo in Maldonado. They then returned by to the Conrad Hotel for a spectacular reception, which lasted till way past sunrise, and also featured an 8 tier wedding cake. Here’s a look at Carolina and Fran’s Finao Flipbook album, which has become extremely popular among our clients due to its uniqueness and superior quality. We are also sharing images of their snakeskin leather cover with matching protective envelope to conserve their wedding memories for years to come. Needless to say that Caro and her family were blown away when they opened up their album. We would like to send a big shout out to all the vendors who made this amazing event a complete success. Saile & Elvin’s Douglas Entrance Wedding Photography

Just recently you saw Saile and Elvin’s fabulous engagement session in the heart of Downtown Miami and now this outgoing and young couple is finally hitched. Wedding preps took place at The Mutiny Hotel in Coconut Grove, where we also captured some beautiful bridal portraits in their lobby. A beautiful ceremony followed at the First United Methodist Church in Coral Gables. The highlight of the night was probably the reception where everyone partied like rockstars. We also took advantage of the Douglas Entrance charm, with all it’s historic sites, to photograph beautiful portraits of this hot couple. Cassandra + Juan’s Wedding Photography l Downtown Miami

Not too long ago we posted Cassandra and Juan’s engagement session which was inspired by their passion in baseball, more specifically, the Miami Marlins, and now they finally got hitched. This wedding was quite unique because the father of the bride was playing double duty — father and pastor, making the ceremony that much more special. There were several surprises: the new “Mrs.” sang to the groom at the ceremony, and Billy the Marlin dropped by the reception to kick off La Hora Loca. When it came to removing the garter belt…. Well let’s just say things can become a little awkward when father/pastor is watching right over you. Cassie and Juan, thank you for letting us capture your wedding day. May God bless you both!
