1. Miami Design District and Downtown area
Miami’s Design District and the Downtown area are one of the trendiest and most colorful locations for engagement photo sessions. There’s something in every corner that can make a great image including the city’s skyline that adds amazing depth. Taking engagement photos in these areas give couples the opportunity to venture out and be different by not choosing the typical beach photo shoot.
2. Jimbo’s Place on Virginia Key
Jimbo’s Place is one of Miami’s oldest hangout spots and a local landmark for photographers, filmmakers and celebrities. The small, bright-colored shacks at the end of the road welcomes anyone and is perfect for engagement photo sessions. It’s a place where the couple can simply have a good time by being themselves while enjoying the outdoors. The multi-colored textures photograph extremely well and you’ll always have a piece of history in your photos.
3. South Pointe Park Since it’s renovation in 2009, South Pointe Park is surrounded by South Beach’s high-rise luxury apartment buildings, beautiful green areas and water views making it another ideal place to capture images of a soon-to-be husband and wife.
4. Theme Photo Shoots Theme photo shoots give the couples the opportunity to choose a location that represents who they are. Couples can choose to have their pictures taken at a location that’s special to them. Perhaps the location can be where the couple got engaged, their favorite hobby or hang out spot. Alexandra and Frank, for example, chose FIU’s baseball park for their engagement photos. Frank happens to be a coach there and Alexandra is very athletic.
