About Me

Armando Pico’s passion for photography began at the age of 10 when he built his first camera out of a cardboard box and a roll of 110 film. After graduating from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, his career as a photojournalist took off earning him 19 Emmy Awards in just 17 years.
With a cinematographic resume that includes the royal wedding of the prince of Spain, he has filmed major international news events for network television. In his extensive travels, Armando honed his photography skills capturing the people, landscapes and architecture that make each spot on the planet unique. Combining his keen interest for visual arts and music along with his news experience, Armando applies his photojournalistic style to all special event cinematography and photojournalism creating a unique product that captures your special moment for eternity. The images speak for themselves.

Congratulations Aillette and Anthony on your recent St Patrick Catholic Church Miami Beach wedding. It was such an honor to be a part of your special day. Aillette is actually the daughter of a long time colleague and fellow news photographer Alan Diaz, who put his trust in us to capture this memorable moment. The wedding ceremony was held at St Patrick Catholic Church in Miami Beach followed by a spectacular reception at the Miami Beach Resort and Spa. Many special moments were lived throughout the day but one in particular stood out the most… it was between Aillette and her mother who is undergoing cancer treatment. We were able to capture a very intimate and emotional mother daughter moment that will never be forgotten. Thank you for letting us be a part of this special day. We hope these images will help you relive your wedding day for years to come.
